Abstract

The game of hide and seek is a game that is very popular among people, both children and adults. Thus the game of hide and seek will have an impact on the development of children's social behavior because in the game of hide and seek there is interaction with other children. So the researchers conducted a study whether there was a relationship between playing hide-and-seek and increasing the social behavior of group A at Al-Furqon  Jenggawah Jember Kindergarten in the 2022/2023 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hide and seek games and the improvement of group A social behavior in TK Al-Furqon  Jenggawah Jember, academic year 2022/2023. This type of research is correlational. Correlation research is research that involves the relationship of one or more other variables that occur in one group. In this study involved one independent variable and one dependent variable. There are two data collection techniques used in this study, namely observation and documentation. With a significance level of 5% and n = 15, 0.514 is obtained. Acceptance and rejection criteria Ho. The null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected if  r count > r table and Ha is accepted, and vice versa Ho is accepted if r count <r table and Ha is rejected. Because r count is 0.685 and r table is 0.514, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that it is quite reasonable to say that there is a relationship between hide-and-seek games and increased social behavior in Group A at Al-Furqon  Jenggawah Jember Kindergarten in the 2022/2023 academic year. If r count is interpreted in the r value table then rcount with a magnitude of 0.685 is included in the sufficient category.
